The Culture
The word "Culture", is commonly used words on archeology, ethnology and philosophy, to make it simple it means religon, morality, art, sceince, law, customs, folk festivals, politics, language and day to day life from the ancient day till now.
Taiwan with her long history, prehistoric people, indigenous tribes, Dutch, Spanish, Japanese, Han Chinese, the European, Us and the new immigrants mainly from Southeast Asia (Taiwanese intermarriage with foreigners). These new immigrants brought with them their home town tradiction, culture and mix with the local life style that will created a new culture of Taiwan too.
Nevertheless, the most imortant part in Taiwan's cultural history was played by the Han Chinese who brought with them traditional customs from China, many of the traditional customs may not be able to find them in Mainland China now, for example the 7 moon ghost festival.
